I take it you meant: "temporary 24-hour ban" .. on this chat? I wrote about the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, not about Afghans; (am I missing your point?).
I think the Dems were "for" more things than the Trump crowd (tax fairness, better health coverage, cleaner environment, etc.). They just kept shooting themselves in the foot with some of the other stuff they supported.
You've missed the point with your insidious narrative of Democratic disunity. Republicans nominated an unserious, morally bankrupt (in fact, convicted felon) and got iT elected. That candidate should never have reached the Oval Office, and Democrats rightly campaigned on that fact. Voters voted perversely, for its own sake. Delay or deferal of Op-Ed pieces reinforced their indecision , much as James Comey's last weekend suggestion regarding further investigation of Hillary Clinton's eMails had a similar effect in 2016. Finally, regarding the withdrawal from Afghanistan, Trump's Doha Agreement and closure of all but one American military base left a kill zone for which Trumpublicans alone are responsible.
What have you learned from the defeat and loss of the democrat brand that can be a significant corrective, while the never trumpers hold the line under the democract brand?
Netanyahu would not work with either Obama or Biden; this definitely cut off American Muslims from Democrats. But look what Trump is supporting now. And Israel voted with Trump and Putin against Ukraine in the UN. What's going on here?
Bibi did work with both Obama & Biden; he just didn't do it to your liking. Two very different things. Further, Bibi is under no obligation to be your favorite ally, considering he's the democratically elected leader of a democracy that has provided the US with exquisite intelligence since 9-11. Israel will vote for its self interest. I bet the Afghans wish Ghani was more like Bibi.

Warning: your first sentence is fine against me but you use similar language with Afghans and you will receive a 24 temp ban.

Excellent question. Let me really ponder that and turn it into an essay. Thanks, @Carol W Jenkins
Thank you Will. Appreciate your perspective.
