Could you and your team choose an organization working to help girls in Afghanistan today, despite the risks and problems? One that you could organize a fundraiser for people to give money to?

I feel so helpless because I don't know whether any charity is actually doing things on the ground in Afghanistan that actually helps girls and women there.

My sister is starting a nonprofit to help Afghan girls. She will be ready in a few weeks. She is working to bring their hand made products to the US and raise fund for them.

Aqsa, you amaze me! I love your resolve! Your words are powerful, and your heart is so strong. It takes so much courage to not just hear about something sad but to also want to take action. The fact that you’re raising your voice for girls and women in Afghanistan shows that you have the strength to make a real difference. You’re already inspiring others to care, think, and act—and that’s a gift. Keep believing in yourself and your dreams, because you’re showing everyone that even at 11, you can be a voice for change. I’m so proud of you for speaking up when others might stay quiet. Keep going—you’re making the world a better place with every word you write.
