Howdy,
Much to my chagrin, little Enrique never contacted me while I was in DC. Poor little Enrique, he probably had to go home to momma.
I’m currently hanging out with an Afghan family, and they’re absolutely crushing it in the United States. 6 bedroom house on a nice quiet corner in a suburb—it took him less than four years in the United States.
Amazing.
Last week, I gave you my favorite writers. Now, it’s time for my least favorite writers.
Thomas Friedman-New York Times: it’s not that he doesn’t have insightful things to say. Hell, his earlier books are required reading. But for some reason, nobody will hold him accountable for everything he’s said since 9-11. Look at this hack’s track record: it’s abysmal. And he’s an awful writer. People mock him relentlessly, but he's a saint because he’s on NYT. He’s not. He’s a hack; the sooner we ignore him, the better we’ll be, including all the residents of the Arab world.
Shadi Hamid, Washington Post: hack. Big hack. He’s one of the biggest hacks in history. This guy is a total fraud. I’ve sparred with him on Twitter. The thing about Shadi is that he likes to play the victim card. Please read his biography. He’s a senior-ranking editor in one of the most prestigious newspapers in the world. If that’s oppression, I have some Afghans he should talk to. Moreover, he loves the Palestinians, but he was in favor of the Afghan withdrawal. How does that work again? You’re in favor of helping some Muslims supposedly getting “ethnically cleansed,” but you were in favor of handing over Muslims to a gender apartheid regime?
Mehdi Hassan, Unemployed? He’s a Jew-hater. You might disagree, but I know better. He’s taking money from countries that push anti-Semitic tropes. He’s a con artist. You may like him. Whatever. I don’t care. It’s a free country (at least for a while longer).
Here’s a video you should watch: https://x.com/LevineJonathan/status/1729161250045853949
Al Sharpton, MSNBC: Another Jew-hater. But now he’s wearing a suit and tie, so you know, he’s no longer the guy who led a pogrom in the early 90s.
Michael Brendon Doughtery - National Review - Oh, shut the fuck up already. You hardly have anything interesting to say. Wow. You’re from Ireland—how original? Read anything he writes, and I dare you not to fall asleep. Kevin Williamson nailed him.

The Future
I’ll be back in Texas next week, so we should have more stuff out. I had a great time in DC, visiting my Afghan friends. Despite the kerfuffle, the Principles First Conference was fantastic. I hope we got to meet a lot of you!
Until next time.
