I’m not going to say I’m pro keeping weed illegal, but I wish the regulatory system was better where it is (even where it isn’t like here in TN. Had recruits at the University who thought it was legal based on all the delta whatever signs). I get some of that is due it being a young industry (vs decades regulating alcohol for example), but the pop up NYC weed shops everywhere, synthetic strands being sold alongside natural ones, etc is a mess!

Great suggestions, might not always work and still worth a try. What we have now is definitely broken. Besides, mellowing out the notoriously fickle American electorate with a little boo - what could possibly go wrong? On the other hand, too mellow and the T. Rump criminal enterprise gets a pass? In any case the Demopublican strategy of too little and too late will torpedo all three suggestions and the Republicrats are already buttoned down on cruelty and inefficient action as the best course. Third party, anyone? Peasant revolt, anything? My guess is the answer will be determined by the actions of those who are actually in tune with reality and willing to tell the truth regardless of whose oxen are gored. In my opinion the Republicrats are a lost cause and wholly owned by the T. Rump criminal enterprise while the Demopublicans are a spent force wandering in the wilderness. Prove me wrong, please.
